Prints Limited Editions, signed and numbered Artist's Statement: I grew up in Belhaven, NC, and presently reside in Bath, NC, with my husband J.C. and our rat terrier named Scoot. Our children are grown and our grandchildren are working on it. We live on the Pamlico River and love the scenery that can be quite inspirational. God has been good to me and has given me great joy in the gifts He has given me. Before retiring, I taught high school English in the Beaufort County School System for thirty years and honestly loved working with some great people. After that career I thought I'd try to develop other interests in the areas of art and music. One of my greatest joys is working with Christian musicians at River City Christian Center in Washington, NC. Recently, I renewed my teaching certificate and am supervising interns for East Carolina University and also teaching part-time at Beaufort County Community College. My mediums in art tend to be pen and ink, watercolor, or acrylic. My technique is basically realistic, sometimes with impressionistic overtones. I have a variety of themes and subjects including landscapes, seascapes, wildlife, homes, and businesses. Most of my artwork now is by commission. I have exhibited in various places including the Beaufort County Arts Council and Community College, Artisans' Market in Greenville, PCS in Aurora, Riverwalk Gallery in Washington, the Old Ocracoke Gathering Place, Historic Bath Gift Shop, Renaissance Gallery in Washington, Blackwood Station Art Gallery in Chapel Hill, EEII's in Belhaven, and various gift shops in the area, all located in North Carolina. Thank you for visiting my site! By the way, the name "DussArts" came from my niece and nephews who couldn't pronounce my name "Dolores" when they were young. They continue to call me "Aunt Duss." - Dolores Morgan
